I was there in 2001 and the kids still slide down that lonf hill on cardboard boxes!! Oh how I miss my Panama!!!

This building appears virtually unchanged since 1950, when it was the Administration Building for the US Panama Canal Zone. At that time I was eight and lived nearby. My father was just out of medical school and an intern at Ancon Hospital. My school friends and I used to slide down the terraced front on sheets of cardboard, palm fronds, or whatever we could find.
